Street Food Cinema: Outdoor Movie and Dinner
On May 25, 2019, don’t just settle for binge-watching from your couch—come to Grossmont Center for the outdoor moviegoing experience that is Street Food Cinema! This year, The Grossmont center is showing Jurassic Park and will welcome food trucks serving a variety of selections, from popcorn over ice cream to dinner entrées and more.
Outdoor Cinema + Food Trucks = The Best Night Ever
Created in 2012, Street Food Cinema screens popular films such as “Grease,” “Pulp Fiction,” and “A Star is Born,” outdoors on a 50-foot, high-definition DLP projection screen with QSC speakers and subs for an immersive, high-quality movie event at Grossmont Center. With the mix of favorite classic flicks and contemporary blockbusters, Street Food Cinema’s unique events provide something for every film fan. But wait, there’s more! The fun-filled evening also includes live music and several gourmet food trucks serving delicious dishes representing cuisines from around the world. It is definitely more than an ordinary night at the movies.

Grossmont Center is excited to host Street Food Cinema. This event is free to all.
Audience members should plan on bringing blankets and chairs. Seating is first-come, first-serve. All children in attendance must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be food trucks and a dessert truck for movie concessions.
Outdoor Movie Showtime
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 8 p.m. To get the most fun out of Street Food Cinema, plan to arrive early to listen to live music and order dinner from one of the food vendors. Then sit back and enjoy the stars, both on the movie screen and in the balmy night sky.
